My daughter turned 1 year old on April 2nd (my how time flies) and to say the weeks leading up to her party were hectic would be an understatement. My husband and I bought our first home in Indianapolis in March and we moved in about 2 weeks before Mackenzie's First Birthday. We had lots of cleaning, unpacking, painting, decorating and party prep to do in those 2 weeks. I'm not quite sure how it all came together since it was all a blur leading up to her party, but everything was fabulous! I handmade a lot of the decorations and my husband and I made all the food and desserts. It was a lovely day to spend with our friends and family celebrating our little miracle baby. Below are some pictures from her first Easter, her birthday party, her 1 yr session as well as her cake smash. Time needs to slow down now, lol!

Meet Baby Frankie! I got to photograph his mom's pregnancy announcements, mini monthly maternity sessions, regular maternity session and the birth! He was 10 days overdue and absolutely perfect! (I'll be blogging his birth later on this week.) He joined his mom and big sister, Maxine and they couldn't be more delighted with him. Seriously, check out that gorgeous blonde hair! You'll be seeing more of him gracing my fb page and blog/website over the next year as I'll be photographing his 3, 6, 9 & 12 month sessions, too! Yep.. he's a member of my Baby Plan! =D
Congratulations Tara & Maxine!!! Meet Kallie! I photographed her parents engagement session and their wedding so I was absolutely thrilled when they asked me to photograph their daughter's newborn session. Kallie was absolutely perfect and slept through her session like a champ. She had the creamiest newborn skin and I was able to get a lot of set ups done with her up until the end when she was through with her modeling gig, lol. Congratulations again, Katy & Brian.. I'm sure little Kallie brings nothing but love and joy into your lives.
The Newsham Family was one of the sweetest families I've had the honor of photographing! Not only were the parents in love, but you could see the love they had for their kids! The kids were so incredibly happy and they made my job a complete breeze. I love when families are laid back and so incredibly happy!
Almost two years ago I had the honor of photographing Corina & Bill's wedding and this April I had the honor of photographing their son's first birthday party! His party was a lot like their wedding.. very laid back, full of laughter and friendship. Everyone was so welcoming and excited to be celebrating Ryder turning 1 and Ryder definitely had a blast being fed strawberries by a pretty girl, blowing bubbles with his mom and opening his gifts!
In January I got to photograph a special little newborn. She's the daughter of my best friend and a little miracle. She was born about 6 weeks early and spent some time in the NICU, but she was a trooper (as was her parents) and she pulled through with flying colors. Heather & Bryan tried for so long to have this little girl and to see my best friend of over 20 year finally become the mom that she's always wanted to be truly and dearly warms my heart. Our little girls are only 9 months apart, so it's going to be so fun to see them grow and learn together.
In October, I traveled to the Indy area to photograph a small & intimate wedding. The location was beautiful, the bride & groom were beautiful and all their family and friends were absolute dolls to work with. There was so much laughter, jokes, tears and hugs the whole time we were there, you could see the love pouring out of each and every person that was there to support LeFontae and LaTania. Congratulations again, to the sweet couple! <3
On Saturday I met up with one of my favorite families to photograph, the Tennery's! Little Grady just turned 1 so they were wanting some family pictures as well as some 1 yr pictures of Grady and I was happy to oblige. I met them at Ellis Park in Danville and had a great time photographing them... seriously, just look at Grady's face in some of these and try not to smile!
