Oh dear, I just realized how far behind I am on blogging! About 3 months ago, I met a couple families out at Oliver Winery for some fall photo sessions. I absolutely love Oliver Winery all year round and I love introducing people to their beautiful property. First up, the super sweet and stylish Hunter Family! They were a lot of fun to work with and their kids are just oh so cute. Next up, I had Tara & Maxine! Tara had an announcement to make at their session, too. Tara and Maxine are two of the sweetest people I have met and I've had the honor of photographing Tara's monthly maternity sessions, too. I can't wait to work with them more in these upcoming months/year as I am photographing her maternity, birth, newborn and first year of her baby's life. =)
On October 2nd my daughter, Mackenzie, turned 6 months old. We headed out to Anderson Apple Orchard to do her big 6 month session. I absolutely LOVE the way the images turned out and I'm so very thankful of the picture that my husband was able to get of me with my daughter. It's been so fun watching her grow and learn and become this little individual already. (She's now 9 months old, lol, that's how far behind I am on blogging so be expecting that post here soon!) I absolutely LOVED shooting at this orchard and cannot wait to shoot there again sometime.. it's especially pretty in the fall time. <3
I had the pleasure of meeting baby Hank and his family last weekend for his newborn session! While he didn't want to sleep for us and his sister didn't want her picture taken, we still managed to get some super adorable shots. I had a lot of fun setting up the props for his pictures as his dad works for IU football and had plenty of stuff for us to incorporate. Thanks to Lisa and Mitch for choosing me to photography your little ones, it was so nice meeting you all and getting to know you! =D
On Saturday I met up with one of my favorite families to photograph, the Tennery's! Little Grady just turned 1 so they were wanting some family pictures as well as some 1 yr pictures of Grady and I was happy to oblige. I met them at Ellis Park in Danville and had a great time photographing them... seriously, just look at Grady's face in some of these and try not to smile!
Last weekend, I got to meet up with my cousin and her beautiful family for some family photographs! I was so honored that they asked me to do their family photos and I had a lot of fun getting to see them and walk around Ertel's Winery doing their photos!
Last weekend I did 5 mini sessions for some amazing families! I had 4 mini sessions at Ertel's Winery in Batesville and 1 mini at Oliver Winery in Bloomington. The weather was hot and sticky and even rainy on Saturday, but thankfully the storms held off during the sessions and all my clients were troopers in the heat. First up, the Cox Family. Next up.. the Ramsey Family Meet the Jones Family Next up.. the Freytag Family And last but not least, meet the Stanford Family
I'm finally getting around to blogging my daughter's 3 month session! I really enjoyed taking her 3 month pictures as it's so fun to see so much of her personality really starting to shine. We headed out to Oliver Winery at golden hour for some outdoor picture (big thanks to my husband for taking a few picture of me and Mackenzie together) and then the next day, I set up a mini studio in our kitchen for some more pictures. It's so amazing how much she's grown in 3 months and I cannot believe she will already be 4 months old on August 2nd. Time flies by and babies change so much that I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to capture these times for babies!
This past week the weather was super hot and unbearable to be outside. We had scheduled this session at the last minute due to some of the family being in from out of state and they wanted pictures of all the cousins together. We didn't want the kids to have to be out in the heat, so we used the family's condo for some pictures and went outside very quickly for some outdoor shots. The Basford family were so sweet and welcoming and were ready to bribe the children so they cooperated, which worked great! I had a lot of fun working with this family and they were real troopers to handle the heat for a bit. I can't wait to work with them again in the future!
